The Graduate Programs Office (GPO) was established early 2014 to address concerns related to the programs of UP Baguio. As a constituent university, UP Baguio has three colleges with distinct graduate program offerings: the Master of Arts in Language and Literature (MALL) from the College of Arts and Communication, the Master of Science in Conservation and Restoration Ecology (MS CaRE), Master of Science in Mathematics (MS Math), and Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from the College of Science, and Master of Arts in Social and Development Studies (MASDS), Master of Arts in History (Ethnohistory and Local history), and Doctor of Philosophy in Indigenous Studies from the College of Social Sciences.

The GPO contributes to the overarching vision of UP in general and UP Baguio in particular, of being a globally competitive university. This entails enhancing the quality of the graduate programs to meet national and international quality assurance standards.
